The office was belittled for importing too many outside personnel to fight fires that would not understand the one of a kind needs in the region. Inspite of these findings of problem within flames departments, support for the mission of the Fire Office itself remained strong in the area. The feeling was that the El Rubio Hills Fire Department needed to uphold large standards, certainly not that its budget should be cut as punishment for the file corruption error of community fire officials.
