The characterization of the artists is indeed a true picture from the horrors of World Battle I which usually cannot be imagined by just studying accounts in the war as given in different readings. The paintings expose the unpleasant events that could surely place the shivers into the generation of today in realizing the atrocities and soul stirring issues that were knowledgeable by those who were part of the war. As the monarchy with the combating countries relaxed and simply gave purchases it were the troops representing the states that bore the brunt in the chilling circumstances.

Soldiers were silent observers in viewing their co-workers butchered in helplessness whilst they themselves were lucky to come back surviving into their ditches unaware of the particular next day had in store for them. The medical corps and nurses had been always for the alert to receive the dead and grievously wounded soldiers whilst those who had been captured had to submit for the inhuman tortures at the hands of their very own captors. Many soldiers were maimed in leading a lifetime of revulsion, helpless in leading a life of misery.

The onslaught of gas attacks produced several soldiers to perish in discomfort while many endured psychologically in being unable to business lead normal lives. The fear of gas attacks was therefore severe that soldiers had to always approach with gas masks in specified areas. There was always a menacing plan underway and it has become difficult for the combatants to judge about who close friends are and whom to know as foes. There was constantly an ongoing procedure to build passageways and system to face the challenges of enemy attacks in a war that hardly ever seemed to end. All who had been physically fit could possibly be expected to be called for warfare duties with little wish of going back alive.

The war was extensively dangerous as nothing was able to escape and all means were accustomed to inflict the utmost damages irrespective of the intensity of suffering and loss to our lives. Human life appeared to do not value nor did the sufferings in the masses intended for the frontrunners who gave orders to fight with the sole objective of winning the war. Major was about winning over the adversaries simply by whatever signifies that was possible in applying weapons and also other means that?nduced maximum damage and enduring.
