Possibly the greatest contribution of the Jews to American Society and Entertainment is Comedy.

What they are called of great Jewish comedians: George Burns, the Marx Siblings, Lenny Generic, Mel Brooks, Woody Allen are staples on the humor scene today. The reason for this is actually the unique top quality of Jewish Humor which it manages being self-deprecatory and humorous without having to be hurtful. The aspects comprise Jewish funny and the classic comedic values are deeply rooted in Judaism’s religious and social traditions. Historically, Jewish funny has always been viewed as egalitarian.
