The Giver Main Character

Jonas, the main personality in The Giver by Lois griffin Lowry, is an extremely strong person, which allows him to go farther in life then this people that are around him. Throughout Jonass life he offers known simply sameness. He lives in a Utopian community where there are not any choices and everybody in his universe has their lives laid out for these people. But , Jonas is given the work of Recipient of Storage. He by itself knows the truths on the planet, a world with colors, soreness, and selections.

What he will with these kinds of truths provides obstacles to his life that will show the readers not merely his strengths but his weaknesses too.

Jonas is made to bear the truths on the planet alone and is troubled in what he have to do with it. Jonas in the beginning doesnt need the recollections because following receiving several of them, all that Jonas has known is being questioned and his community turned inverted. He is irritated and frightened after receiving his starting set of remembrances. Angry due to what has become kept from him and afraid because at this point he doesnt know what to complete. Jonas is uncertain perhaps the world this individual learns of is best for his community of course, if people could be trusted making decisions on their own.

In a conversation to The Provider (person moving down the memories) about if it is safe to allow individuals to make their particular choices, Jonas say, Suppose they are in order to choose their particular mate? And chose wrong?…

He has got the strength to endure the pain and suffering he’s forced to deal with and the power to do something to fix the issue. Jonass ignorance and durability are apparent when the Provider gives him the thoughts.
