In college students confront many moral dilemmas. This paper is going to explain the factors that affect a student’s moral decision making plus the ethical decision making process.
The socialization method is a significant influencing aspect in our ethical decision making. Whilst we are children, we absorb behaviors and develop our morals and values. Our family is the biggest influence in developing each of our morals.
For example, proper utilization of grammar, the value of education, and good work ethic are all values that family members help us to formulate. Negative impact on such as alcoholic beverages and substance abuse, poverty, and physical mistreatment can also form our behaviors and attitudes. Peer pressure is also an important factor college students confront when making honest choices.
